August 2026 is packed with major designer toy releases and events across Asia. From convention exclusives to limited-edition drops, here is the complete calendar for collectors planning their month.
August 7-9: Indonesia Designer Art Toys Expo
The Indonesia Designer Art Toys Expo in Jakarta features the debut of GID TRIUMVIRATE vinyl toys, produced through a collaboration between GGNW, WierdKidsClub, and Facter. The event highlights Southeast Asia’s growing designer toy scene with exclusive collaborative releases.
August 21-23: POP TOY SHOW Singapore 2026
The biggest event of the month takes place at Marina Bay Sands. MOLLY’s 20th-anniversary releases headline the show, with Singapore-exclusive figures from POP MART characters including HIRONO, KUBO, CHAKA, and HACIPUPU. International artists Matt Gondek, Ron English, Catmynt, and Jenny Cherry bring highly limited drops. Standard tickets cost S$40 in advance.
August 26-28: Shenzhen CIPE 2026
The Shenzhen International Cultural and Creative Products and Designer Toy Exhibition at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center covers 24,000 square meters with 380 exhibitors from 24 countries. The event runs alongside the Shenzhen International IP Licensing Expo, making it a key trade event for brands like BaiChaoHui seeking manufacturing and licensing partnerships.

Plushie Planet’s STAR BABY Series III “The Symbiotic Flow” is preparing for launch with six regular guardians and a secret edition. POWER KNUCKLE x Kamen Rider vol.2 ships in the second week of August at 1,000 yen per play. ZURU STARBOX continues its global rollout with three new blind box worlds: Nook Nooks, MINNEE, and Sad Baby.
